2007 Announcements
THE THIRD HIV OFFSHORE R^N
We've had two enormously successful offshore r*ns so
far, and now we are thinking about having another one.
This is your chance to register your interest in attending
the next offshore run. Have a think about it and cast your vote on the following parameters:
- Where?? Cheap, close and different.....voting
for this is on the front page if you missed it
- When?? What time of year suits you.....voting for this is
on the poll below
You can vote once per day. Voting closes at the end of
June 2007, so don't gin around or think too hard!
NEW HABERDASH.....
After what seems to be an enternity, and with winter nearly
over, the HIV Winter Fleecies have arrived, and will be available from the CCXVI
R^n.
There are only 15 abvilable, and 10 of these have been reserved.
So get in early as I won't be holding these for very long.....I need
the bloody cash!!
Cost is $35 each. Only large sizes available
and the colour is black.
A new stock of embroidered berets is on
the way and will be available at the CCXVII R^n.
The berets will cost around $25 each depending
on the embroidery.
DOWN DOWN DITTIES.....
As announced at the CCII R^n, all regular HIVers will be
required to learn at least a couple of down-down ditties by heart.
In this way we can spread the load of leading the singing, and if we
all do it, then it's only a small thing.
Remember, there's no shame at HIV that the ice can't cure!!!
THE GM'S GUARANTEE.....
We
all now have access to r^n details via the web calendar and the Paddy’s Trash. So use these to get your sh#t organised
well in advance.
And
to ensure that the r^ns are kept up to date, OGO Muka offers this guarantee if quality:
“If
any HIVer discovers no r^n details on the web calendar by three days before the event, he may charge the GM and make me sit
on the ice”
Coz he
won’t be sitting on the ice any other way…..
THE GM IS DEAD.....
Long live the GM!! After an eventful 12 months that saw
HIV continue from strength to strength each week, Lisa finally handed over the reins of the GM-ship to Muka Puki at the
CCI (201st) R#n last Monday, 30 April.
We thank Lisa for his un-ending dedication to "culling
out the fuckwits" and ensuring that our arses are now acclimatised to resist Antarctic winters.
And in true humility, Lisa accepted his fate on Monday
and spent the majority of the circle on the ice. A true hash gentleman.......(excuse me while I barf into my stubbie cooler).
There will be a few small changes in style, as is to be
expected, and we hope that you continue to come out and show your support for the new GM in true HIV fashion, eh cunties!!!
